Chapter Two is up you can find both my chapters about my travels right under the About Me in case you were looking for them. I'm in Dublin at the moment so sorry guys if posting is going a little slow I'm a little under half way to being caught up to now and I'll try and get everything done soon since NaNoWriMo is starting up November 1st. What is NaNoWriMo you ask? Well that is a very good question which I have an even better answer to. Ahem. "National Novel Writing Month (often shortened to NaNoWriMo, "na-noh-RY-moh"), is an annual internet-based creative writing project that takes place during the month of November." There. I love google. So I've finally decided to undertake the task (I'm freaking thrilled!), I'm taking the plunge and come hell or high water (Hopefully neither) I'm going to attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in 31 days. Wish me luck! No seriously wish me chocolate and coffee and tears because I may not survive. Anyways Chapter 3 is coming soon so please stay tuned. Hey. I rhymed :)
Until Next Time,

Baggage Plane... Oi.
Okay so here's the long version of the baggage plane misconception. I recently went to London, yes I know I haven't written about the trip yet, I'll get there. Anyways so I went to London to visit family, he's an honorary cousin of mine. London Joe was kind enough to host me on my UK travels. He was also incredibly wonderful in cooking dinner three days out of the four. One night over a delicious (orgasmic) bowl of soup made of sweet potato, freaking PUMPKIN, and gosh knows what else, we got to talking about my flight to Barcelona. I told him how nervous I had been that my baggage would be lost and then recalled the strange occurrence that I had seen at Stansted Airport outside of London. For my flight to London I had chosen good old RyanAir. Yeah I know, what you pay is what you get. No one likes a know it all. Unfortunately I had arrived to BCN Airport only an hour until takeoff and was subject basically to the back of the line. Well if you don't count the 10 other people behind me... We were the lucky few that no longer had space in the carry-on cabinets. Yay! I actually had a comical gentlemen who argued so loudly with the attendant checking our bags (Thank god for free) that I almost made it to the queue before he could grab my bag, but alas loud mouth was quickly silenced with the threat of not getting on the flight at all. Taking my bag and handing me a sticker, I got on the flight scared to death I would never lay eyes on my bag again. Alright now for years I had thought about where the baggage you checked went, ya with me? I figured that it wasn't allowed on the plane with you because of the weight so naturally it went to (wait for it)... a cargo plane. Because that's what cargo planes were for right? CARGO. Baggage. Whatever. Now onto the odd occurrence, Once I had landed in Stansted I walked down the stairs and looked back at the plane waving a small goodbye to the pilots (plus wondering how Princess Kate makes it down those plane steps in heels, those things are freaking steep!) when I saw workers unloading my "checked bag" from the plane I was just on. What? I was so confused. I wanted to walk over and grab it from him but they stuck it on a kart and took off. I made it through Border Control in fairly good time and then grabbed my bag from the belt since it had come in while the England Border was interrogating me on travel plans (ridiculous). After telling London Joe of my interesting account he did the only thing someone could do when faced with the naivety of a child. He laughed, loudly. I don't blame him. Okay so here's the deal guys why the hell are we paying extra money for a checked bag when its on the same damn plane we are on!? Oh and another thing HOW THE BLOOMING HELL DO THEY LOOSE LUGGAGE!!?? It's on the same flight as us. I was understanding before. I figured when luggage disappeared it was because the "luggage plane"landed at the wrong airport or took off at a later time then the people plane, but now I have no sympathy for the airlines. So while I still don't really understand it all I have uncovered another mystery into the workings of mankind, what a load of unstable lot we are. In all seriousness though I had a wonderful time in England everybody, and if you get the chance to travel to London don't waste it, a very cool place indeed.

Chapter 1 is up for "Sophia's Adventures in Barcelona," give me a shout and let me know what you think. I should be posting chapter 2 soon and once I'm caught up to today the posts will probably even out to one post a day. I have a short story in the process that is almost ready to be uploaded, can't wait to hear your thoughts. Other writers out there expect a prompt your way soon I haven't forgotten.
Until Then,

Short Talk
So here's my thing on short stories, I always enjoy brainstorming on how to improve an idea or storyline it's just my thing. If I do post something I just ask that you be respectful. Constructive criticism is completely and utterly appreciated, but dude come on no one wants to hear just plain rude and mean shit. Don't make me sing Taylor Swift at you, don't be mean! On a lighter note I'm going to be posting writing prompts that you can respond to and if you are working on a project and want to rant about a plot hole or just brag about how wonderful it is please do! Brag away we deserve a little praise for the crazy stuff that runs through the minds of writers. See a spelling or grammar mistake let me know, I'm always open and will only growl when I'm hungry. So have a goodnight or good day depending where you're at email if you have questions or just wanna talk about whatever.
Until then,
Sophia
PS: If I do post something just a reminder, I work really hard on these stories no matter how far in the writing stage they are whether new born or hey I might just have enough pages to start hassling publishers... So Copyright or not please just ask if you want to use something or email me! Okay I'm off the soap box.
Welcome!
Hey Everybody, welcome to Wandering Souls Are Never Lost. My name is Sophia Menesini and I've always wanted to do this but just never got the nerve there's so much to catch up on, but I guess I'll start at the beginning. For a general outline as I am traveling around Europe, I will be sharing my thoughts on finding the weirdest inspiration and most interesting places to write as well as to explore. Expect pictures and gushing on how beautiful things are what can I say I'm kinda a fluff ball... I originally had the idea to start this blog to share my ideas as well as my short stories with an audience who could help me improve as well as share their own experience. Gaining a network of people brimming with imagination. Basically this is where I go to relieve the pressure building in my brain and if I can cause slight entertainment or just make you feel better that there's someone weirder than you out there I'm cool with that. I'm going to try to post everyday. Nah, I will post everyday whether you want me to or not.
Until Then,
Sophia
